No Such Thing As A Bad Day Of Fishing Spring time, out on a lake with a good friend in a shiny bass boat. What could be better? Well, fish for one thing. Jack Johnston of Albemarle and Todd Austin of Monroe had the day, the weather, and the boat, but were coming up short on fish when found near the Lilly's Bridge Landing on Tillery last Sunday. Their luck was about as good as every fisherman on the pond that day. “We aren't gonna complain,” stated Johnston. “Best weather we've had in weeks.” The “no bite” they reported wasn't making it a bad day of fishing... just a tough one. “Give it just a few more weeks and it'll be different,” they laughed. |
