Archdale Bassmasters Bring It To High Rock

The Archdale Bassmasters traveled just a stone's throw down the road last Saturday to bring home the best bass High Rock could offer. The club is nearing the end of its season with one remaining event. Michael Hedgecock and Darrell Coltrain were flipping docks up Second Creek just before 2 PM and finding better luck than other locations on the lake. The partners had found limit earlier and were spending the last hour or so culling.
“We hit Abbott's early this morning, but had no luck at all there,” stated Hedgecock. “A lot of the other guys thought that would be the place to start, but no one had much luck there today.” Abbott's has been the best producing location on the lake in the past three weeks, but failed to deliver for most Saturday. Some reported some luck up in Flat Swamp, while many headed far up the lake.
“I saw saw a lot of the guys using spinner baits today, but we haven't had any luck with them at all,” noted Hedgecock. With that, the pair headed back towards the Southmont Landing and a 3 PM weigh in. Their bait if choice... well, it was dark and it was plastic. Photos of event
