New Bass Series Comes To Yadkin ChainFebruary, 2010
As the bass fishing season creeps ever closer, a new tournament series has announced its 2010 schedule on the Yadkin Chain of lakes. Fishing Addiction, directed by Dean Minor, will hold its debut event on Lake Tillery March 6th.
“We plan to fish the four main lakes on the Yadkin River,” stated Minor last week. “These are always favorites for local anglers and we hope the cash prizes will draw anglers out.”
Entry fee into the club is $20, while each event will cost $100. That fee includes a Big Fish pot. Michael Bryant will be assisting Minor in the new effort. Blast off times for all events are safelight, and weigh in times will happen at 3 PM.
Seven regular monthly events will culminate in a Fish Off October 23rd on a lake to be decided. Points Champions in the series will receive 2 new GLoomis Rods, while drawings for two new Shimano rods will happen at each tourney. The events will have a five-fish limit.
